The California Music Educators Association Southern Border Section (CMEA-SBS) is the inclusive organization that supports and promotes all music education in the San Diego and Imperial Counties. As one of the largest state sections in California, CMEA-SBS is an active advocate for music education not only in the San Diego and Imperial Counties but also the state and nation through its affiliated Membership with CMEA and NAfME: The National Association for Music Education.

Are you looking for a way to make more of an impact in music education? CMEA-SBS is looking for new energetic and creative board members for the 2019-20 school year. As you know CMEA-SBS is committed to bringing a wide variety of events to our CMEA Members. These events include large & small ensemble festivals, honor ensembles for the secondary level, conferences, and workshops all in the areas of choral, strings, winds/percussion, guitar, and elementary general music. We are currently seeking leaders to assist with current events and/or add new events to our already expansive line-up. We would like to invite you to join our current 2019-20 board of inspired teachers who work hard to make music education strong in the Southern Border Section.
